Required Ingredients
Chicken
A chicken breast piece is required. Cut them into medium-sized pieces.
Capsicum
Capsicum or green bell pepper has a unique taste with mayonnaise. It gives a lovely taste in the mouth. I used it as a key ingredient as a taste developer. They have a slightly bitter taste however they produce a creamy taste with chicken and other veggies.
Chinese Carrots
carrots have their health effects. They have good effects on eye sites. I recommend using fresh chinese carrots as their taste is richer than frozen ones.
Eggs
I use boiled eggs as they help to make a dense and rich batter. But it’s optional.
Cabbage
Cabbage is an ingredient used in almost all kinds of Chinese recipes. Its taste in raw form is a bit sweet.
Mayonnaise
I use whole egg mayonnaise. It is creamier than simple mayonnaise which is not labeled as whole egg mayonnaise. Although some people still don’t like it.
Bread
I use sandwich bread that is available at the market easily (usually in bakeries). Simple regular bread may also be used but its piece size will be smaller.
Butter
Butter is used to soften the bread slices before spreading the batter.
Tomatoes
Tomatoes cut in the rounded form will be placed inside the slices. Their juice will add more flavor.
Instruction (step by step )
Chicken boiling
- Please take a deep saucepan fill it with water add ½ tbsp of salt to it. Put the small pieces of chicken breast in it. Boil chicken for 20 minutes. Shred the boiled chicken pieces into smaller shreds. You may use a blender for this purpose too.
Cutting and Mixing of Veggies
- Take a deep bowl and add all veggies (cabbage, capsicum, carrots). Rinse them with running water. Peel them and cut them down into small sliced forms evenly and finely. Again take a bowl and add 1 cup of mayonnaise (whole egg) in it with 1 tbsp of salt and 1 and ½ tbsp of grounded black pepper in it.
- Add all the cut veggies (cabbage, fresh red carrots, and green bell pepper) plus shredded chicken.
- Mix all of them properly
Boiled egg addition
- Add three full-boiled eggs in minced or mashed form.
- Adjust the salt and black pepper after adding mashed eggs.
- If the batter becomes hard then add more mayonnaise if needed. The batter should be creamy and smooth.
Preparation of Bread Slices
- Take bread slices. Cut down with a sharp knife their edges.
- Spread batter on slices. Put another side of the slice on it. Put the batter in the same quantity. Add rounded sliced tomatoes in the middle layer.
- Cut the slices in the middle.
- Garnish mouthwatering Chicken and Vegetable sandwich with mayonnaise with ketchup and serve with tea.

Somes Recipe notes
- If you want more creaminess in your sandwich then you may add fresh cream also.
- Finely chopped veggies should be used.
- If you have leftover fried or roast chicken in your refrigerator then use it to make this amazing recipe.
- You may add other spices like cumin powder, and cardamom powder also.
- It’s totally up to your choice but grounded black pepper is a key ingredient or better say the heart of this recipe so don’t skip it.
- The addition of a boiled egg is optional too. Skip it if you want to make it eggless.
- Don’t keep on adding more and more mayonnaise because the batter may become more running which will not be of perfect texture to spread on bread.
- Use always sandwich bread slices as small-sized simple slices are not appropriate.
- Don’t put ketchup too much in between sandwich slices as it will dominate the taste of the spread and ruin the taste of the sandwich.

Tips
