Ingredients for Chicken Marination
Chicken
1 kg chicken required ( breast part). if you want small-sized chicken pakoras that cut 1 breast piece into half. Then marinate it.
Other Ingredients
For marinating chicken ginger-garlic paste is the most essential ingredient as it helps to remove the typical chicken smell. That is sometimes so awful.
Lemon juice
It helps to tender chicken pieces and brings a flavorsome taste. Don’t forget to squeeze lemon juice
Garam Masala powder
In my kitchen, I always keep ground garam masala powder in an airtight container hence it is my key flavor secret to all chicken recipes. It creates a specific aroma to chicken that when somebody eats it he/she can feel a blast of different spices in one bite. Consequently, it has a dominating taste so it overcomes the chicken’s typical smell.
Rice flour and White flour
Here the purpose of using two types of flour is to make chicken pakora tastier and crispy so don’t miss that.
Regular spices like salt and red chili powder will be added with oil and ground coriander powder.
For Coating marinated chicken pieces. I used Eggs well beaten and 1 cup of white flour.
Check out my favorite sandwich recipe( chicken sandwich with mayonnaise) that can also be used as a snack recipe.
How to make chicken Pakora burger with cheese
Marination of Chicken
- Take a deep bowl and add white flour and rice flour after sieving properly. then put all spices (salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, chicken powder, garlic-ginger paste, oil, garam masala, and lemon juice.
- Mix well all the dry ingredients.
- Now add the desired amount of water to it. Mix it well to make a running batter.
- Put all the breast pieces. Don’t forget to make a small cut on the breast before marinating the chicken.
- Marinate all chicken pieces well on both sides. Put them in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
- After margination. Dip them in dry white flour (maida) then dip them in beaten eggs. Repeat the process 1 more time.
Cooking
- A drying method will be used.
- Take a deep frying pan. Add deep-level oil to it. Let it hot. Now fry all the breast pieces.
- Now put the flame medium. Let one side be crispy and golden brown colored. Then turn to another side.
- Don’t let them overcook otherwise their taste will ruin. Put all the chicken pakora aside on tissue paper for absorption
Ingredients for Burger Assembling
Bun
In the market, buns are easily available. Some have sesame seeds on top they have more flavor than the simple ones. I have used round buns.
Veggies for stuffing
Cabbage, tomatoes rounded sliced, and lettuce if you want more fiber otherwise cabbage leaves will be enough.
Mayonnaise and cheese slices
I have used Amazon mayonnaise has the best flavor and high nutrients. Add cheese slices and place them in the refrigerator before starting the recipe.
Burger Assembling
Take a pan and add 2 to 3 tbsps. of oil. Put the flame on low. Slightly warm-up buns on both sides. Don’t let them burn. Take the lower part of the bun and spread the ketchup with a spoon evenly. Put fried chicken pakora. Place cabbage leaves/ lettuce leaves on it.
Add a layer of mayonnaise and spread it well. Then place 3 tomatoes rounded cut pieces in a single burger with a cheese slice. Put the upper part of the bun. Garnish with fresh coriander at the top. Place some ketchup on the serving plate before serving and enjoy it with Coke and make your weekend memories with your family members.
Tips
1. If you want to skip cheese then feel free to skip it
2. I have not added fried eggs to stuffing because then it will become a regular kind so I would recommend skipping it.
3. Some people love soya sauce to add to chicken marination then feel free to use it. Here I used a small amount of lime juice because soya sauce has a bit of a tart taste.
4. If you do have not rice flour then make it at home by taking 1/2 cup of dry rice and grinding it in a blender until fine flour-like powder forms.
5. If you want to add some curd to chicken marination then add only 2-3 small tbsp otherwise marination will become runnier and chicken pieces will not absorb the spice flavors.
