Instructions for Choosing Ingredients

Here are some instructions regarding choosing your ingredients which are as follows.

Banana

Before choosing a banana make sure it will be properly ripe otherwise, it will ruin the taste of pancakes. Black spotted bananas are best and have a good sweet taste.

Bananas with brown spots are not only sweeter but they also help with constipation instead of aiding it (like yellow bananas).

Flour

I used whole wheat in this version, but all-purpose, white whole wheat, oat flour, or a one-for-one gluten-free flour also works.

Cinnamon

I love adding a pinch of cinnamon to my banana pancakes to really up the taste factor. Cinnamon spice benefits are remarkable to babies’ diet. But you can also omit this spice if you prefer. I also have a list below of other fun ingredients you can add to the pancakes if you are feeling fancy.

Egg

one large egg is needed to bind everything together.

How to make Egg pancakes?

Mashing

Firstly in a bowl of medium size, we add ingredients in proper measurement and mash the banana until desired consistency. It should be lump-free.

Adding

In the same bowl, we will add 2-3 tbsp. of flour and 1 medium-sized egg at room temperature.

Mixing

After adding the egg we will mix up the whole ingredients(flour, egg, and banana) by using a whisker or egg beater, or a fork with a pinch of cinnamon spice. It will become a good consistent batter.

Cooking

You can take a nonstick pan for cooking your pancakes. Heat the pan at medium heat then add or spray the oil. Butter may also be used instead of oil according to your taste.

To check the proper heat add a small drop of batter and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes until one side gets golden brown color. Then start adding more drops of batter in the pan at a distance

Don’t take too much batter otherwise, it will ruin the shape of the pancakes, and fry them until they get a golden brown color from both sides. Flip properly to cook from both sides evenly.

Some recipe tips to be noted

Size

The size of pancakes must be considered carefully because we are going to give them to little ones. 1 tbsp batter will give us perfect small-sized pancakes. Try to make them in a round shape if their shape is somehow not perfectly round then it’s okay!! Try one more time. For me, it’s not that important as you can see 1 or 2 pancakes have 1 magical corner that I tried. Just kidding!!

Bananas (Ripped)

For making this recipe you need to use bananas that will be perfect yellow with brown to black spots on their peel. The ripened ones have more sweet taste than the un-ripped green bananas. Bananas having spot-bearing skin made them instant constipation relievers So they must be part of the diet. But if we accidentally use green color bananas then we will be on the way to facing the trouble of constipation.
